• The empirical antibiotic treatment of nosocomial spontaneous bacterial peritonitis: results of a randomized, controlled clinical trial.
• Statins are associated with a decreased risk of decompensation and death in veterans with hepatitis C-related compensated cirrhosis.
• Addition of simvastatin to standard therapy for the prevention of variceal rebleeding does not reduce rebleeding but increases survival in patients with cirrhosis.
• Elafibranor, an agonist of the peroxisome proliferator activated receptor alfa o delta induces resolution of nonalcoholic steatohepatitis without fibrosis worsening.
