Presentada el pasado viernes por el Dr. Herrera, adjunto del servicio y también perteneciente a la Unidad de Diagnóstico Rápido, repasó 3 articulos publicados en la revista Annals of Internal Medicine; en particular el último sobre los nuevos anticoagulantes generó debate al término de la sesión. Los artículos revisados fueron:
- Benefits and harms of statin therapy for persons with chronic kidney disease
- Thalidomide for the treatment of cough in idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis
- Comparative effectiveness of warfarin and new oral anticoagulants for the management of atrial fibrillation and venous thromboembolism
